We “ditched” one of the scheduled outings and hopped on a songthaew that took us to the Buddhist Temple to get our first ever tatoo! It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it to those that wish to get a memorable tatoo. The process is completed with a sterile needle and the work is extraordinary! Also, I recommend tourists check out the pharmacy/cosmetics for items to bring home at cheap prices. Aroma inhalers are amazing as well as tiger balms. Skin bleaching creams and other interesting cosmetic items are fun to look at. We also had excellent luck at the gem and mineral shops. Excellent prices after some minor negotiations!!

Comment on When You Learn About Vodka You Will Never Think They Are All The Same Again by Nate https://www.beabetterbartender.com/vodka-whats-the-difference/#comment-70383 Wed, 26 Jan 2022 16:28:17 +0000 http://beabetterbartender.com/?p=63#comment-70383 The legal regulatory definition of vodka is “a neutral spirit so distilled, or so treated after distillation with charcoal or other materials, as to be without distinctive character, aroma, taste, or color.” You can’t sell Vodka in the US if there is any way to tell the difference. You used a couple thousand words to say “i totally am
susceptible to marketing”.

Comment on How To Deal With Barflies by Joel Mitchell https://www.beabetterbartender.com/how-to-deal-with-barflies/#comment-69869 Thu, 28 Oct 2021 07:17:58 +0000 http://www.beabetterbartender.com/?p=6920#comment-69869 In reply to Sean.

your best bet is to set a few traps (stay on top of the cleaning though as you are, this will stop them in the long run)

But to stop the flys here is what you need to do

Pour just enough cider vinegar to cover the bottom of a jar or a glass.

Add a drop of dish soap (it will break the surface tension of the vinegar so the fruit flies can’t just sit atop the liquid).

Now, cover the jar with plastic wrap and poke a few holes in the top.

They will be like lemmings – add two or three of these to discreet areas behind your bar and remember to change them every couple of days

Hope that helps

Can’t keep them dry at all. Insecticide doesn’t work. Bar is scrubbed & as dry as I can get it. Would flypaper work or would that be a waste of time?
